The hotel is very close to the airport it literally took 10 minutes by Uber to get tthe hotel and vice versa. But the down side is that you will hear the planes landing and taking off. I sleep with earplugs (as I'm a light sleeper) so the noise didn't disturb me.
My room was large, nice, simple, and clean. I appreciated the air conditioner and ceiling fan. A large floor to ceiling window provided fantastic views of the skyline and beach / sea.
However, the finish of my hotel room was a bit poor. The door frame was coming away from the wall and it was roughly cut out around the light switch.
The bath towels are tiny, so much so I thought they were hand towels. The shower wasn't hot enough for my liking. The shower head is an overhead waterfall, so it was awkward when trying to void getting my head/ hair wet.
The breakfast was VERY BASIC only a few simple options and very repetitive. There are a few local restaurants near that have an extensive menu with reasonable priced options. Staff were attentive and accommodate food restrictions/allergies. However, locals socialise outside, they are harmless, but it's worth being alert.
The rooftop pool was lovely, it offered lovely skyline views and the music created a fun vibe. The beach is just across the road so that's convenient if you want to go for an ocean swim.
Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Overall I had a good stay, Summer hotel is a decent affordable option with minimal frills.
