When I booked, I rang Peppers and told them I was handicaped and needed a ground floor room. The room they gave us was about 100m walk from where I had to park the car, unlock 2 doors to get into the room, only to find the toilet seat broken and on the floor. I complained and was given another room closer to my car. That room was a little difficult to get into on my mobility scooter but I made it ok. I found the aircon was not working so I rang the desk and they sent a small electric fan heater which took a long time to heat up the room. Thankfully the room was rather small. The TV remote had no way to change the TV volume, even with my hearing aids in, I could not understand what was being said on the TV. Nowhere in the room was any info about how to contact the desk, so I had to ring on their landline number on my mobile.
I think maintenance, or lack of it, is a big problem in Peppers.
