I went with my 2 teenage daughters for 1 week
It is a lovely big & centrally located hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful, especially the kind manager - big thumbs up!
However, I do have 2 improvements, due to a lack of important information missing in the details about this hotel on both Expedia, where I made my booking, and on the Sheraton Towers webpage itself.
Following info should be available for customers before they make their booking:
1. We booked the Executive Lounge.
At the check-in we were informed that children 12 years & older only are allowed in the Executive Lounge - luckily my youngest daughter had just turned 12 two weeks before....!
Otherwise, that could have really spoiled our stay in the hotel for us.
I expect this info both in the details of the room with Expedia & on the Sheraton Towers Executive web page.
The service in the Lounge was fantastic, the staff just can't do enough, we really enjoyed going there to relax.
2. The 2nd piece of important information missing - their lovely big Fitness Room. My girls and I work out every 2nd day, & we were looking forward to using it.
At the entrance counter we were denied access because children under the age of 16 are only allowed in with a personal certified trainer! Personally, I find this rule very 'Over The Top!'. Thankfully, we got it sorted, but I feel If kid are 12 or over & accompanied by an adult, this should suffice.
