We were quite disappointed with this hotel. Upon arrival in the evening (very quite time) no one was there to help us, tell us where we can park, or give us any information. Checkin was literally consists of giving us the room key and leave us to figure out where to go(floors , elevator etc). Room was not cleaned properly so the front desk staff were apologetic and had to change our room. The rooms are newly renovated so that was a plus. But the whole hotel, including rooms, specially on the first and second floor, had continuously food smell from breakfast area and restaurant, which combined with air freshener was not a pleasant smell at all. Breakfast was okay but chaotic, I am not sure if the staff were going through training or what but most of the time staff and supervisors were in deep conversation among each other rather than helping customers. On the day of our departure, we had to call the front desk 5 times to send someone to help us with our luggages and of course no one showed up!!! So overall very poor service / hotel, specially when Movenpick position itself as 5* hotel. Unfortunately this is the second time in a row that we have been utterly disappointed by movenpick in two different locations and we will not be staying and/or suggesting it to anyone.
