The service provided from check-in to check-out was excellent. There were a lot of staff members to help with questions, with luggage, etc. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel is in walking distance to train stations and there are places to visit within walking distance for people like us who are there to visit/sightsee in Yokohama. Their breakfast buffet is excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel because we were leaving for a cruise the following day from Yokohama port. It is very close to the port. Adjacent to this hotel is a mall and a food court. Very convenient to transportation also. Easy bus shuttle to both airports. Hotel is walking distance from the Yokohama ferris wheel.

Very nice hotel
The room is very clean and the view is so great - you can see the ferris wheel. It's easy to manage the shower temperature. There are several shopping malls nearby. Two free bottles of water every day.

A Room with an Amazing View
We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay in the Yokohama Royal Park Hotel. The room was a good size and we enjoyed the amenities. Very clean. View from room on 61st floor was amazing and loved the feature where, upon entering the room for the first time, the curtain blind automatically rises to reveal the view. Bathroom is a little dated in decor but pristine. Would not hesitate to stay again and hotel is located very close to shops, restaurants and NR station and subway. Also convenient location for cruise port.

My room was all digitalized, we opened the door, the window drape was automatically drawn up and the sun light came in and the impressive view of Yokohama from 60th floor appeared. The amenities were very high grade. It is too bad that I stayed only one night. Staffs were polite and professional, but lack on friendly smiles IMO.

Buffet breakfast didn’t have much choice for westerners. Lots of choice for Japanese tourists but not for western tourists and no choice in variety. Same items for all the days. Very poor service. Had to request for hot water & teabags three times. None of the servers spoke English. Even the Maître de didn’t speak English

The hotel is truly wonderful, with one caveat. By design, there is very low light in the rooms. It is so extremely low that reading is impossible (my head started hurting before I realized what the problem was). The hotel staff was super helpful in getting me extra table lamps, so you can get extra lighting, but note that there is no overhead ceiling light in the rooms whatsoever. I found this extremely surprising. So, if you are planning to do any work in your room, be sure to request extra lamps on arrival. Were it not for this one issue, the stay would have been perfect. It is a truly lovely hotel, but I prefer well lit rooms.
