Sann Hotel
"Shockingly good stay from A to Z, top to bottom, and beginning to end. Very very good staff, room was clean and well appointed. A/C worked, almost too well. All facilities were in great shape and well kept up. Breakfast buffet was strong, good coffee shop next door and very good casual restaurant a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Really liked the style/decor of the hotel, guess one would call it 60s/70s resort chic - kept expecting Don Draper from Mad Men to come walking through the lobby. All of the above, and the price was extremely reasonable. Will return, definitely."

"My ENTIRE experience at this property was 10 STARS !! I traveled solo for my birthday. I arrived at the property before 11 am. Pippy did not hesitate to allow me to checkin and gain access to my room immediately!! I was also greeted at checkin by Tony (front desk Manager) who presented me with this gorgeous Thai arrangement from which he pulled a bracket, informed me of the Thai tradition and blessing then tied it on my wrist! On my actual birthday, the staff surprised me at my room singing Happy Birthday with cake and candle! I was SPEECHLESS!! I was traveling solo but I definitely did not feel alone! The entire team felt like life-long friends! Everyone was extremely nice and pleasant at every single encounter! I will absolutely return to this property. I encourage anyone to treat yourself to experience this perfect oasis in Chiang Rai. You will not regret it."

"Every thing was fine. A rented car is needed."
Grand Vista Hotel Chiangrai
"Very welcoming staff and the room was a very pleasant surprise. Big and a very big and comfortable bed! 210 cm wide. Didn’t like the frame around the bed as it stuck out like 15-20 cm because very easy to hit it with a leg during the night if go to toilet. Also remote to AC would’ve been nice because the AC was way to loud during the next and if we turned it of it got so hot. Pool was nice. And gym was good too. "

A stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal for exploring the city's key landmarks, cultural attractions, and rich history, including temples, smalltowns, and monuments. Visitors can also enjoy tours, festivals, and discover beautiful river views, waterfalls, mountains, hotsprings, and hilly landscapes, all offering great value for money.

You might also find last-minute deals by exploring the Last-Minute Deals page and enabling alerts to get notified of any flash sales. Additionally, the Smart Shopping app tool allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to spot opportunities to save on your trip.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates might help you save on your stay in a Chiang Rai hotel. For those seeking unique experiences, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be higher, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Chiang Rai's excellent public transport connections, you might find a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well linked. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
