Nice staff, subpar facilities
The staff was friendly and polite; however, the room was not the cleanest nor the most comfortable. The carpet was pretty stained up and the bathroom only had 1/4 a roll of toliet paper. The toliet paper, I might add, was not refilled so we were on our own for that. The restaurants and breakfast were pretty bad as well. The hotel is no more than a 2.5-3 star

The hotel looks great outside.
But: Everything worked bad. The service was horrible.. The check in delay almost 50 minutes.

3 km away from airport
Too crowed on weekends, you see only Chinese. Only one guy speaks english. The smell of the bathroom in my room was bad. Price a little high for what you get.

Convenient & clean & relatively new
Traveling in 3 person, request for an extra bed with breakfast, room size is good enough for that, roof to floor window is nice, overlooking Tianmen mountain. Located at the roundabout with one road lead to airport, one lead to the cablecar station & train station nearby & the other go to the city/walking street. Breakfast is Chinese food mostly, with some Korean dishes which is ok with me. Overall, value for the money

Only for the brave
Do not stay unless you either speak Chinese or have your guide to hand. As the only restaurant does not have a menu but relies upon you choosing the food from counter and them telling them how you would like it cooked (the food was very good and great value)
The breakfast room, I can only described as madness, we gave up.
The bed was like sleeping on the floor

Shabby
Not for foreign travelers. The front desk still uses fax for reservations and hadn't received our booking because their business desk was closed for two days due to a holiday weekend closure. It took an hour for us to convince them we would not use our credit card to make a 'deposit' so we could use the rooms. The toilet in one room reeked of an awful smell. The furniture is worn out and stained. The breakfast only has eggs and toast as options for foreign travelers and the 'gourmet' restaurant is a misnomer. This is a 3 star property at best.

Nice hotel close to Tienmen Shan.
The receptionists are friendly and helpful but a bit slow during check in. We booked online for one night but decided to stay on for another night. Overall, a nice hotel.

Hotel Mis-management
Hotel is overcrowded, especially for breakfast. Stayed for 6 nights, and had 5 disappointing breakfast.Tables were dirty, and the restaurant is like a mad house during early peak.
Had not have new disposable sleepers for 6 nights. Carpets were dirty. In my opinion, business too good, that they had neglected basic care of hotel guest.
But I got a good driver from the hotel that we booked for our whole trip.

I would recommend, but...
No English staff at night...only few during the day. I had the feeling that staff at the reception was serving the Chinese customers instead of the Foreigners, even if they were first in line...very disappointing. They did not took my Credit Card (Master Card) for my room deposit, I had to give them cash (RMB).

Tianmen Mountain visit- WOW
Airport is only 2 kms from airport, taxi will try to rip you off. We bartered and got it for 30 yuan. The town is fairly small and right at the base of the mountain. Please visit the mountain and night play. Sensational....... One of Chinas BEST attractions. We walked from motel to cable car. You can see it from motel window. Wait at cablecar counter a local will sell you mountain tickets, insurance, night show for 410 yuan.per person. Hint....get there before 11a.m as afternoon crowds are hectic.Cablecar is out of this world. Night show is world class, taxi driver ill take you there and back for 50 yuan. Mountain cablecar ride is safe but not for faint hearted. At mountain top another chairlift to temple. Chairlift cost 40 yuan return, well worth it the temple has 5 temples. stunning...Take the cablecar back down halfway and a free bus will take you to heavens gate. Bus ride is breathtaking. Heavens gate to me was better than the great wall......Chinas hidden secret. Walking access is quite easy. We had pram and still ok. Left pram at mountain top office. Motel is excellent. Breakfast good......The highlight is the hotels evening food street. Eat like a king for very cheap, Free wifi in lobby lounge. Rooms are huge. Also has small milkbar seven eleven in lobby. The hotel has embodied what a tourist hotel should be. We will go back again and spend much longer. Loved it.

Room and service is nice
the room is nice, quite clean. The Chinese restaurant serves nice dinner too. However, breakfast served in the Western restaurant doesn't look hygienic enough.

Ett hotell som levererar!
Detta hotell var över förväntningarna! Kan verkligen rekommendera det till alla!
Cool lobby och fräscha rum!
Plus och minus:
+ Stora rymliga rum

Most likely "best" city Hotel in Zhangjiajie
The hotel has obviously seen better times in the past - needs renovation works in many areas. The front desk personal and staff in the restaurants are incapable to speak one single word English. The so called "international" restaurant is normally closed/lights out; only if foreigners are coming they prepare some desks. The "international" menue is an illusion, most meals from the card are not available, what is available is made from a cook who never has learned to prepare international food.
In our visit the hotel was mainly filled with bus package tour tourist of lowest thinkable educational level, the hotel staff has hard times to clean the breakfast room afterwards.....we were the only foreigners in this hotel at that time. The hotel has no pool. The city center of Zhangjiajie is only a 300 m foot walk away but in preparation for to be demolished completely; the old quarters are with faceless appearance and not worth to be visited.
As well the rope way (cable car) base station for Tianmen Mountains is only in a foot walk distance from the hotel, early appearance there is required, later in the morning waiting time can be > 3 hours......
The hotel has a small shop inside with partly interesting stuff. The hotel has a nice view either to the river or even better to the Tianmen mountain side, but in our visit the whole time thick smog filled the valley with very short range of visibility.
Especially the twin bed standard rooms are very complete and spacious, recommenda

離景點甚遠,附近沒有購物地方。
我們住豪華房清潔及空間還可以,但服務則甚差,check - in 及 check -out 用了45分鐘,職員不熟悉運作,要不斷問senior 。信用卡過數機壞。煩擾!
