Red Lion Hotel by Greene King Inns
"The staff were lovely and helpful and I had a spacious bedroom with on suite and it was clean. I had a problem with a couple who was in one of the rooms next to me making banging noises at gone 2am in the morning and I have sensory issues so I shouted to them can they please stop banging as it is gone 2am in the morning and I have sensory issues and I am trying to relax but I can't relax and I also heard someone making sex sounds in one of the other rooms next to me so it was triggering me because of past trauma so I had to put the fan on to drown out the sounds"

"Rooms a little tired, great location. Bar was great as was the check in and out team. One big downside was breakfast. Quality is very low no fresh mushrooms or tomatoes, eggs not great and the veggie option sausages were frozen when delivered though the veggie bacon was good."

- Consider your location: Opting for accommodation nearer to key attractions or city centres can offer convenience, but it often tends to come with higher costs. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels located in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You could also look into independent hotels situated further out, which are more likely to provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
