If you look at my previous reviews you will see that I am more than happy to fault accommodations where they are lacking, with regards to this hotel I have absolutely nothing apart from praise. A beautiful apartment, very well appointed, excellent reception staff and a magnificent restaurant with a fantastic steaks! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We stayed here for three days to visit the Harz National Park and mountains. We were shown the property by a really friendly receptionist at the adjacent hotel. There is a really well equipped kitchen, a comfortable bedroom, and a table and chairs outside. We could order bread for the morning which was delivered to the door. It was walking distance to all the main parts of the town and a great choice of restaurants for dinner. So many things to do in the Harz, lots of walking, cycling, lovely...

I was really surprised by how good this hotel was, really good condition, nice location, super comfy bed, kitchen facilities in room, good shower. The breakfast buffet was really tasty, good eggs and sausage. In the evening the restaurant serves really good food at a decent price, and the beer and service is good. Staff were fun, helpful and professional. Local environment is quiet, the local town a 15 minute walk, but its an easy and safe walk, and worth it as there are a couple of bars...
