During your stay, you can explore historical sites, enjoy scenic walking and biking routes, visit magnificent cathedrals and churches, savour local delicacies at charming cafés, and immerse yourself in the artistic atmosphere of museums and opera performances. This timeframe provides great value for money, allowing you to enjoy all that Lucca has to offer without breaking the bank.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: On Hotels.com, you may discover attractive offers by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section, where discounted hotel stays may be available. For those seeking last-minute getaways, the Last-Minute Deals area could reveal reduced rates near your travel date. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool via the app allows travellers to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you to spot opportunities as they arise. Enabling email alerts or push notifications ensures you’re more likely to see flash sales and special promotions, keeping you informed as availability and prices change.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Lucca hotel. For those seeking unique experiences, boutique hotels often offer a more personalised service and may sometimes provide better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will indicate if the price for your selected dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we might suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Lucca's excellent public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a little further out that remains well linked. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
