4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Denver
- Book for the cheapest times: Visiting Denver on a budget is particularly appealing during January, November, and December, when hotel prices might drop to lower prices. A stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal for exploring the city's key landmarks, historical sites and cultural attractions such as urban spaces, theatres, museums, art galleries, sports venues, distinctive architecture, live music, entertainment spots, gardens, and dance venues, making it a truly affordable and great value for money experience.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Discover potential hotel deals and great savings on Denver hotels by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals section on Hotels.com, where discounted rooms for last-minute getaways may be found. You could also consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special offers. Meanwhile, travellers are more likely to see a helpful comparison tool, Smart Shopping , available via the app, which allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities. This way, if rooms become available or prices drop, you'll be the first to know and can book accordingly.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find better value for your stay in a hotel in Denver. If you’re seeking a distinct experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer more appealing rates. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that might offer more economical options, potentially helping you discover a more favourable deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels located near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, with Denver's superb public transport links, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
