Online check in was convenient. I did have to argue about my silver rewards which was a parking credit… they had no idea at the desk… so I showed them the booking on my phone and they ensured my parking was complimentary… however, do to pressure washing I was unable to use the car park for 2 of the 3 nights I was there. The first room had no kettle, cups, spoons etc… flickering lights in the kitchenette…
They were happy to move me but then told me I could only move there for 1 night and then would have to move again… eventually we found a room… however the bathroom had mould (pictured) and the kettle wouldn’t turn off… it felt unsafe to use. I made these things known but nothing happened… I just gave up in the end.
The place is literally falling apart, it is in bad need of updating… there certainly wasn’t value for money, I have experienced way better at much cheaper locations… I won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone who values cleanliness and the amenities you pay for actually working properly.
Staff were nice, but seriously up against a property that does not meet the brief for what it says it is… have really low expectations if you decide to stay there.
