"This is an older property well maintained. You can feel the history in its building. The room I had was a double queen and had a sitting room. It's nice not to have to sit on your bed to watch tv. There was a tv in both the sitting room and the bedroom. The bathroom was very lux. High end finishes. The beds were comfortable with FULL SIZE pillows. Much appreciated. Am planning on returning soon."

"The outside was dated, the inside renovated and very clean. Prefer hard floors over shaggy carpet. "

"Overall a really nice place to stay in Lake Placid. Easy parking and beautiful view of the lake from the dining area. Room clean and a good size with small microwave and fridge."

"We enjoyed staying at the best Western. The staff was great. The service was great, and the breakfast was exceptional handled very well by Pam who is friendly person. We would definitely come back!"
