The bedroom was very spacious with a lovely comfortable seating area for watching t.v. plus a standard reading lamp. Bedding and bed were both excellent and the hotel provided 3 pillows each (this is rare). There were many thoughtful touches in the room and bathroom such as shaving mirror, room for toiletries to be stored, plenty of hooks for bathrobes etc and good clothes hangers in the wardrobe. Amazing opportunity to experience life in a stately home - sixteenth century but with all mod cons including a powerful shower in a cave. Do visit.

This hotel was a highlight of our recent tour around France. Located in gorgeous french countryside, with wonderful facilities of heated hot tub, heated pool and tennis courts included as well as bike hire. Rooms are beautifully French and there are lovely seating options in the library and gardens to enjoy some of your locally purchased wines, cheeses and other goodies. Lovely standard room with a very comfy bed and very clean bathroom with a hair dryer and complimentary refreshing spray, very welcome after a very long hot drive. A large number of electric points and 2 suitcase stands. Parking was easy and secure and we were able to leave our car parked there after checking out so we could explore the sites of Tours the following morning. Quirky and elegant hotel well located in Tours. Very welcoming and helpful hosts and very accommodating of our ten bikes. Breakfast was great. Beware: It’s a tall hotel with a LOT of stairs. The first floor rooms looked like they were the more expensive ones

Good two night stop in a refurbished room. Good staff. The ramp to the underground car park is really narrow and anything other than a small car will have difficulty.
