Learn more about Branscombe

Branscombe is well known for its attractions such as East Devon and Dorset and East Devon Coast. This welcoming city has something for everyone including restaurants and sights like Branscombe Beach and Hooken Beach—all within a small-town setting.

Somewhere I'd never heard of before visiting but totally fell in love with as soon as I arrived.

Branscombe is reportedly the longest village in England and also “one of the most relaxing and picturesque villages on the Jurassic Coastline,” according to visitsouthdevon.co.uk.

Although the village is tiny (around 500 inhabitants) there's quite a bit to see and do here - three national trust properties, a grade 1 listed church dating back to circa 955, and a stunning coastal path (which you can hike) leading to the pretty town of Beer.
