"The room was clean, if quite dimly lit. The staff were very helpful and the homemade pizza in the bar/restaurant was quite good. The room had a balcony overlooking the lake which was lovely. It's clearly an older lodge, but for the price it was a value and a pleasant stay. If I were going back to Ely, I would stay at Silver Rapids again. I heard that it had been purchased for renovation, so it may become more expensive."
