This is a typical Japanese resort pension. Hotel itself is old, but nicely maintained. The owner is a very nice guy and creating a nice atmosphere inside the hotel.
The room does not have a toilet or shower. They have two bath rooms, small one and slightly big one. Good thing is you can lock the bath room while you are having showers and taking a bath. This is a good service for people who are not keen of public bath in Japan.
Food is decent for both dinner and breakfast. It is not a fancy dinner, but nice and cozy homemade meals. Good value for price for sure. Especially I always like the thick bacon in breakfast.
You need a car to access this hotel. It may not be easy to find. Also, snow tire is absolutely necessary. There are always remained snow in the parking.
Rating is not high, because I guess the building is old, but I really like the cozy atmosphere here.
I definitely comeback.
