Super service off the highway path
Being an avid traveller I often look for a stay outside the mainstream. This is one of them, and it's very good. Wintertime it's low key and peaceful but in the summer it's buzzing.
Hotel and restaurant sits right on the water! There are only 10 rooms with a relaxing common area equipped with coffee and the by desire, so it's cozy. Easy check-in even late hours. Customer service couldn't be better incl. that they open the restaurant on a Sunday night for only one room. Food was excellent and the breakfast was of good quality with various choices.
The room was tidy and comfortable but could need an upgrade, though the whole establishment is a family business focused on comfort and quality, not luxury. All staff was superiorly nice and accommodating.
It's well worth a visit and I'm looking forward to come back during the summertime.
