We stayed here for 1 night only during a road trip but wish it could have been many more. Max and Debs were superb hosts and the facilities were immaculate with every detail carefully considered. The breakfast was excellent using locally sourced product. Very highly recommended.

Had a fantastic stay here. The welcome was so friendly and was shown to our room which was very clean and well presented. Loved the black 'make-up' towel, nice touch. Comfy bed and black out curtains. Could not fault it. Communial areas also very clean and homely. The breakfast in the morning was such a treat! Again the service was brillient and food tasted amazing. Couldn't want for anything. If we were holidaying again in the area would definitely stay again. Can't recommend enough.

Amazing
Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Old Embassy House. Deb and Max are the perfect hosts and the standard of service and accommodation is better than some 4 *and 5 * hotels we have stayed in! Don't hesitate, just book it, you certainly won't be disappointed

Lovely B&B in a great Cornish Town
Fabulous stay. Max and Debs are extremely hospitable. Max called to say our room and parking space was ready earlier than expected. Rooms are lovely. Breakfast is one of the best I have had in a UK B&B. Plentiful and very tasty. Will definitely stay again.

Short Break in Fowey
Second time staying here and it won’t be the last time. Lovely rooms, great breakfast and the location is great for exploring the town. The owners are so friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. High class B&B that puts most hotels to shame.

A wonderful stay
What a great stay in a gorgeous town. We arrived on a stormy day, and Debs and Max couldn't have been better hosts. We received very good dinner and drinks recommendations for our brief stay, and parking at the public lot up the hill was easy. A local actually helped us with a parking slip, so our night in the lot was free. My wife and I walked the short distance to St. Catherine's fort and actually weathered a brilliant downpour in the surviving 400+ year-old doorway of the castle as the waves crashed against the rocks below. We wouldn't have wanted it any other way. High adventure for us! The breakfast was fantastic, and Max was professional and pleasant. We would stay here again. My only caution would be the clear glass sliding door on the bathroom in our first floor room. If I had my choice, I would prefer an opaque or solid door for more privacy.

OUTSTANDING
Outstanding greeting, care and quality which cannot be faulted. Everything was simply perfect. There are 4 rooms and 2 parking space which should be reserved at booking. The public car park is in walking distance. Highly recommended.
