This particular room was a basement-much like a cave, but it did not require bringing luggage up stairs, a plus in Split and was close to parking. My main issue was poor internet, but I had a Crotian simm card. The room was relatively spacious and had a couch for a third.

An emergency sleepover
This is a really nice place at an excellent location. The room is nice and quiet. The A/C is good. Waking distance to the beautiful old city and night life. Very friendly and helpful people. The breakfast was fantastic; I guess it was custom made for us. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is parking. It took us more than an hour (after a looong trip from Boston) to park our rental). Also, it is not inexpensive.

This property was very good and the location was perfect. The staff was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Breakfast was great containing the cereals, breads (also catered to my gluten free needs), meats, cheeses and fruits. Our bus was late in arriving and we had an issue getting into our apartment but after that all was well. I would stay there again.

Fantastic
The staff was very friendly, helpful, and engaging. Great breakfast and location by the palace. The staff made good recommendations. We will only stay here when we return to Split.

A quaint place to stay for a B&B. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Bed was comfortable and room clean. It is in an old home that was modified to rent our several rooms. We were in the highest room and because of that we had to climb a very small & narrow spiral staircase to get to the room. Breakfast was a typical European spread with cold cuts, cheeses and breads. We requested a late checkout because we had just flown in and were very tired, but they couldn’t because another party was coming that day (checkout is 11:00 AM). They were however kind enough to allow us to store our luggage in the office until later that afternoon before our ship left. Close to restaurants and downtown tourist attractions. All within walking distance. Overall, a pleasant place to stay for a short visit.

Great place with an amazing host
This is an excellent place for a visit to Split. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the Old Town. The place is very quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good. The host Pero Is amazing, the most helpful host that I have ever met. Not only did he gave us a brief but very knowledgeable introduction to Croatia and split, but went out of the way to find us a parking spot nearby..

Convenient location at the edge of city center
Cute, spacious studio, convenient location not too far of a walk from city center. Breakfast was a few doors down and Paola was super friendly and helpful. Pero the owner was also very communicative, checking to see what time we would arrive and having someone wait at the door for us, also there is free street parking up the road or a paid parking lot not nearby. The only complaint was you can feel the springs in the bed so the mattress can use an update, we stayed on the ground floor so luckily didn't need to walk upstairs

El trato exquisito, Pero, el encargado siempre atento a las necesidades de los huéspedes, simpático, servicial, todo lo bueno que puedes decir de un establecimiento así lo tiene éste. Han sido tres noches estupendas en Split, un hotel con encanto y con un servicio inmejorable. Una experiencia para repetir.

Had a wonderful time- Highly recommend!
The hosts: Pero, Marina & Sandra were very helpful and all aspects. From the time we met them to 9 nights of stay to the time we said good bye, we were treated with utmost care. Pero had prepared a welcome treat with a snack platter and home made wine and liquor. Then he explained us about the history of Croatia (and Split) dating back from the 3rd century. After that, we were given detailed information about the places to visit, restaurants to try and activities to do. This welcome session lasted as hour! Pero has experience in the tourism industry and is evident very well. The building is 200 years old built with stone, yet modern and well maintained. The room was clean and hygenic. The hotel is situated very close to the center (3 to 5 min walk), which is a good thing as there wont be much disturbance. The breakfast was very flexible (7:30 to 10;30). They ask you when the breakfast for next day should be prepared depending on your plan. One day, we had to leave the hotel by 7 and so Pero packed us breakfast (sandwich + fruits + yogurt + water bottles) and left it in the room the previous night. Marina's omlettes (with cheese and veggies) were just amazing. She is so happy to serve you food. Fresh fruits (whole and cut), orange water, smoothies, bread(s), cheese, vegetables, cereals, of course coffee and tea to mention a few were quite good. Highly recommend staying here if you like personalized treatment.

Een mooie kamer net buiten het drukke toeristencentrum van Split. Alleraardigste dames die een lekker ontbijt verzorgen.

Really good location with amazing hosts ! The owner is really helpful and friendly. Don’t hesitate to go there for an accommodation in Split city center. The bathroom needs some refreshment.

Wonderful, all too brief stay
Pero and Marina made us feel very, very welcome. Pero gave us some really useful tips about what to see and where to eat in Split, whereas Marona just brightened our morning with a beautiful smile and hospitality at breakfast. We would return in a trice!

We had an amazing time at the Vila Baguc. It was so close to many great attractions that we could easily walk and see many things. The owner gave us amazing recommendations about restaurants and fun things to do, and and our room and breakfast were perfect!! We will definitely be back!
