Showboat Hotel has fallen on hard times. The room was clean, staff was polite, and there was no bad smell, these are the highlights. Mattress very soft, lightbulbs broken in the bathroom and nightstand lamp. The hotel was shabby overall, terribly stained carpets held down with duct tape in all the common areas. No real breakfast -- only hot food options were steamed croissant egg sandwiches, kind of gross. Muffin was good. Will not go back.
Rugs in all of the common areas were shabby, stained, and taped to the floor.

The hotel was better than I expected it to be. Our room was nice and in a good location. Expect a LOT of children, the hotel is geared towards kids. My only complaint was our shower the water was trickling out.

Old and dirty. It's an arcade that has half empty claw machines that you can't win on. Awoken at 3am by yelling and screwing the hall outside our door. Would not stay here again. One positive, the sheets looked and smelled clean.
