When booking the hotel, it was very misleading that the rooms did not have microwaves or coffee pots, etc. in order to have a room with a microwave it would’ve charged us an $600. Also, the amenities were extra. While I understand that there should be extra cost for add-ons the pool should be accessible to the people who have paid to stay there. My family was put out hundreds of dollars which took away from our vacation because I also was told that I only had to pay $92 at the desk upon arrival. But it ended up being hundreds with the security deposit. Again very misleading when you’re told one thing and another cost happens for a family that’s on a budget. It’s extremely disheartening. We have been through a lot this year and it took a lot for me to even get this vacation to happen so all I had saved had to go towards security deposit not to mention the $75 for parking that I had to pay for the three nights I was there. It was just extremely costly and everyone I spoke to in the elevators and lobbies We’re all in the same position. People are on budget, but it doesn’t mean we should have to live as hermits. We should still be able to enjoy our time with our family, even though we don’t have six figures a year coming in. We chose this hotel because it was affordable, but again not told all the extras upfront when booking cost us a lot of sad kids when they had to be told no for other things during the vacation.
I will say “most” of the staff were kind.
