Beautiful birdsong, the distant sound of temple bells, and the landscaping of plants. I spent five days meditating in my room. It made me wish to spend my later years in a hotel like this in Thailand after retirement. Pros • The staff is friendly. • It’s close to the airport. • The interior design is sophisticated. Nice hotel! Quite, clean, a lot of parking, nice staff, and not too far from all of the market. I have no complaints about the hotel especially 7/11 was at the front of the hotel. The house keeping was so thoughtful even I didn’t let them clean my room during the stay but they still left me with clean towel and water bottles at my door everyday.

I’m not Thai but The XYM is a great place to stay. Perfect location and a short distance away from both the international airport and the old city area. There is also a western style gourmet food market and a shopping center a short distance and easy walk nearby. Great Place to Stay …

Great place to stay. Close to the airport without the usual aircraft noise. Surrounded by many restaurants and dining options, a convenience store and a coffee shop. A major shopping center and two western style supermarkets are at a easily walkable distance. Located off street in a very quiet location. Great staff, the bed sheets are both clean and crisp and the hot water is hot. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The XYM is my only go to place to stay when I’m in Chiang Mai …

Great Place to Stay

Great place to stay along with being conveniently located near the Airport. The hotel is very close to Central Airport Plaza (shopping center) a Thai style open market and two western style supermarkets all are within walking distance. There are several restaurants close which includes traditional Thai, Thai style hot pot, Japanese cuisine and Thai street food carts are just one street away. The staff is helpful and accommodating and the hotel is very well maintained. Price was the only thing right!

Overall, wasn’t too bad - for the discounted price, I wasn’t in the main hotel but in a separate building on the 2nd floor which appeared to be inferior rooms. The bed was super hard, the pillows the same - I ended up using 2 towels rolled up for pillows as the supplied pillows were too high & hard to be comfortable. My hair brush went missing. Not a cheap one either. They also left my immigration form I needed to leave the country with, in their photo copy machine - thank goodness I checked my passport folder. The coffee shop affiliated with the hotel is strictly coffee & limited pastries. Also closes at 6pm. Wouldn’t stay again.

처음에는 미니룸을 예약했지만, 방이 조금 어둡고 작아서 스탠다드 룸으로 업그레이드 했습니다. 그 곳에서 약 2주를 보냈고, 결과적으로는 만족했습니다. 미니룸과 스탠다드 룸은 차이가 컷습니다. 가성비를 따진다면, 스탠다드 룸이 쉬기에는 훨씬 편합니다. 침대상태도 다르고, 룸 컨디션도 많이 차이가 납니다. 짧은 여정이라면 미니룸도 괜찮았겠지만, 오래 머무를 계획이라면 스탠다드룸을 추천합니다. 처음에 배정받았던 방은 화장실 세면대에 문제가 생겨서 다른 방으로 옮겼고, 전체적으로 방들은 깨끗하게 유지되고 있습니다만, 개미들이 좀 많이 있었습니다. 약 놓으면 좀 없어지긴 합니다만,...(데스크에 이야기해도 크게 개선되는 게 없더라구요.) 침대도 편안했고, 화장실도 깨끗했습니다. 수압은 조금 약한 편 입니다. 와이파이는 좀 오락가락합니다만 잘 될때는 잘 됩니다. 세탁서비스는 따로 없지만, 2층에 코인세탁실이 있어서 편리하게 이용했습니다. 올드시티를 오가면서도 크게 불편한 것은 없었고, 스쿠터를 타면 타페게이트쪽까지 약 10분 정도 걸리고, 걸어서는 20~30 분 정도 걸립니다. 숙소바로앞에 편의점이 있고, 건너편에 매일 열리는 야시장이 있어서 이용하는 재미가 있고, 근처에 쇼핑몰도 있어서, 생필품구입이나 장기간 지내기에는 적합한 편 입니다. 직원들도 친절한 편 이었습니다.

Close to CM airport

This is an ideal overnight hotel if you have an early flight or arrive late in Chiang Mai. It is very close to the airport. There is a 7-11 and an excellent coffee shop just outside the gate. Airport Plaza is a 10 minute walk away. And Rimping Grocery store is five minutes away. The hotel is away from the road and not under the flight path so the noise level is OK. Very good value with a swimming pool....if you are not expecting a four star hotel. I have stayed here 3 times over 4 years....the place is well maintained. (Not walking distance to Old City or Night Bazaar)
