You will not be disappointed

This lovely property operates more like a B&B and if you are happy with that it is a great choice and you will not be disappoinred. We will return.

OVERRATED

Except for the location and this place being quiet, this place is not worth more than 3 stars. 1st issue why this place can never get more than 3 stars is breakfast, you get choices of bread, yougurt, fruits, cereal and coffee to be delivered to your room at a set time, if that time slot is available, (S.O.L.) There is no restaurant or other meals available. There is no protein like meat or eggs as an option, the fruits i received were a couple over ripen bananas and 2 rotten apples which i took a pic of and showed the front desk, and they had nothing to say... As we were getting ready to check out, they turned off the water without any warning ( no phone in the room either) so as i left my room to go notify the front desk, i saw 2 maintenance men and they advised me it will be turned back on in 10 more mins, so i told them this will delay my ontime checkout at 11am, so please notify the front desk, they said ok. So per the RULES, you have to wash all the dishes you use in the room, so with us just finishing up breakfast @ 9:40, thats when the water was turned off. Now we have to still shower and clean up. Guess what, @ 11:01am someone is knocking on the door to ad vise me checkout is 11am. SMH ! The place was rated highly by previous reviews, that's why i booked, but it's overrated,.not worth the money to me.

Go for it! - the Villa will not disappoint! YOLO!

Want to feel like the King of the Castle? Book the 'Villa' at Coast Beachfront Hotel! About 1400sf of SWEET beach pad- complete with a full kitchen; 2 master suites; several fans- and an ocean view that's right out back! NICE private balcony overlooking the pool...they even bring you great b'fast every morning- delivered to your big family table on the patio- when you want it! Staff is ULTRA nice- they made it a point to remember all our names by the end of the first day! Full security front and back, and great location central to the town and grocery shopping. The rest of the units are nice, too- but the VILLA is our go-to choice! (and the friendly raccoons; howler monkeys and colorful birds are a welcome treat as you relax on your patio and give Thanks!) TRY THIS PLACE!

The Coast Beachfront Hotel was a spectacular place to enjoy Tamarindo, CR. From start to finish, everything was well accommodated and communicated. The hotel team were very responsive, and my accommodations for room choice were respected. We stayed in Rm#115 which personally I think was the best room in the resort! Perfect unobstructed view of the pool & the ocean, surrounded by the beautiful flora & animals. We had our own private patio w/ table & chairs, & although they weren’t technically reserved for us there were 2 poolside loungers right in front of our patio so unofficially we claimed them as our own. Our room was large & the layout was great, w/ the kitchen by the front door & a little window, spacious bathroom, & comfy king sized bed. The cleanliness in our room & around the resort grounds were immaculate. The staff worked hard all day to ensure perfection! The resort is not too large so it never felt overwhelming & quite exclusive, this meant the pool & other amenities (surfboard rentals, free boogie board, beachfront loungers) were never crowded or unavailable. The complimentary breakfast included was fresh & you could always ask for more. The kitchen was perfect we were able to make a number of delicious meals! The resort had a communal ice machine & water filter which was so useful. Being oceanfront meant I could surf for hours everyday with the reasonably priced surfboard rentals from the hotel. I felt safe & secure all the time. We would definitely return! TYSM

It was a gorgeous place to stay for our first time in Costa Rica! The entire staff was amazing! The security guards were awesome! They pointed out monkeys and iguanas for us many times, that we would have missed if it wasn't for them. Breakfast was brought to our room every morning, and it was delicious! If you want a quiet, beautiful, safe place to stay, I highly recommend The Coast Beachfront. If you prefer loud, large crowds, travel east down the beach. If you want to relax, this is the place to stay!

The hotel is great. The pool was very nice and the rooms were well equipped. The location can’t be beat but the real stars are the staff. Very friendly and professional, immediately tending to every detail. Simply a wonderful hotel.

This property is a gem. On the beach and away from the touristy bustle of town, but close enough to walk for a meal or provisions. Facility is clean and well maintained and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Loved the place and the staff. It was quiet but walkable to everything. The beach was nice and so was the small pool. I would definitely recommend it.

Front desk staff was very kind , there is a delicious dining option right across the street , walk out to a beautiful part of Tamarindo beach , Bed very comfortable. AC worked great, TVs would be better if just had netflix or apps , This is a very nice hotel and is more geared for adults , IMO

HIDDEN BEACHFRONT GEM

Excellent boutique hotel experience. Clean, quiet, convenient location without the tourist crowds, generous continental breakfast delivered to the room, beautiful private beachfront to enjoy in the shade of palm trees. Staff is always helpful but not intrusive. We will definetly stay here again.

Surf en famille

Hôtel de petite taille, directement sur la plage avec un portion privée où des chaises longues sont toujours accessibles. Très confortable, petit desjeuners sommaire servi à la chambre. Il nous a été très agréable de desjeuner sur notre balcon. Du surf débutant se fait directement devant l’hôtel (planches de surf en location sur place 10$/3hres). Sinon, 1 km au nord, des vagues offrants plus de défi vous attendent.

The Coast is a great experience. Staff is great, very accommodating and friendly. Stephany at the front desk is super nice and helpful with anything you need. Great location on the beach but away from the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo. But if you want anything it’s a short walk to everything, food trucks, etc.
