Stay was fine until....
I enjoyed the hotel while I was there. I prepaid for everything and did not charge anything to my room. However, two events tarnished the experience for me.
1. I went to the lobby restaurant one evening and wanted to sit by the bar for a drink and light faire. There were 3 people at the host station talking to each other and did not acknowledge me. One waiter came up and I asked if it was ok to just sit and have a drink at the bar and he said that he did not know and I should ask one of the people conversing amongst themselves. I left and went to the Grill across the street.
2. I had a strange, $20 pending charge on my bill after I left. I thought that it would fall off like the hold but, then, it turned into a charge. When I called, the manager said that I was charged $20 for a stained pillow case that they thought was stained with makeup. What? I have never heard of a hotel charging for that.
