Aswan is an important stop on an Egypt trip. We loved traveling by water taxi to visit sites along the Nile. We visited Phillae Is. and the Isis temple, the Nubian village, shopped for spices in the market and for jewelry and Egyptian cotton.

It's worth staying here for a few days and taking some trips. In comparison to Luxor, Cairo and Giza It's quite relaxing.

Seems to be a great city and quite prosperous. The Nile right there and southward is quite beautiful.
"The hotel was wonderful! Very pretty, comfortable and peaceful. Everything was organized and clean. The view of the city from the hotel was beautiful. Staff offered a good service with a lot of hospitality. The restaurant was big and offered a variety of food to enjoy. Overall the stay was amazing. I highly recommended. "

The spa facility was exceptional, particularly Zeinab provided an amazing and relaxing experience. The rooms are large and we had a cold jacuzzi which was very nice in the hot weather. "The owner is very friendly and speaks perfect English. He arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport and bring us to the hotel. The area in front of the hotel is beside the river. There was some construction happening on the the building that was a little inconvenient at the entrance, but the room was great! Cold air conditioning, comfortable beds ample sized room with beautiful view of the Nile and boats out the window."
