The food was surprisingly excellent, particularly the breakfast buffet. Dinner was also great. We had the salmon soup, salmon on beet risotto and the deer sirloin. All delicious.
Unfortunately, although there were Northern Lights the night we were there, they were very hard to see because there is so much extra lighting around the hotel. Like incredibly bright parking lot lighting everywhere. You need to leave the hotel and go onto the nearby cross country ski trails.
Also, the wifi was so bad we almost missed all the aurora app alerts. So, it was frustrating to have to wake up at 3 am, try to find a wifi signal and check the alerts. We couldn't confirm anything through our windows because of all the lights.
