The Mixed Emotional Bug
I have mixed feelings about my stay. We were assigned our room and we unpacked and checked in and everything. The next morning I woke up with bedbug bites all over my back and my torso. I went to the front desk, explained the situation to them, and they immediately put us in a new room, which was a suite on the very top floor while I was grateful for that and grateful for the cookies that they set up as an apology I was still turned off by the bedbugs. They told me that they would send echo lab to the room to inspect it and upon their inspection they informed me that they did not find any bedbugs while I was disheartened by this news. I do know for a fact that they were bedbugs and I have the proof because my wife took pictures of my back.
Thankfully, the other room didn’t have bedbugs, but we were still leary of it happening again. Also, I wasn’t offered a reimbursement for that first night, which was kind of disheartening. I’m not sure if we’ll stay there again.
