We'll surely come back

We stayed for the third Advent weekend in the family room (sleeps 4). The interiour is a little old-fashioned but all was very clean and nicely done up. The service was excellent, staff and owners are very friendly, flexible, caring and helpful. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of cold food and one hot dish that changed daily. Good variety of fruit, juices and hot drinks.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our main decision to book here was based on the fact it stated there was a swimming pool before we booked. On arrival once they found our reservation we were notified that no swimming pool actually exists apart from in a next town somewhere. Very disappointing. Blame was put on Hotels.com by staff. Saying every time they tried to contact them it would take 20 minutes of their time to try and get through. Personally i think they need to get this updated asap. We travelled over 5 and a half hours to get to this hotel for its leisure facilities. They had none and in middle of nowhere so nothing to do in the area. Thankfully we travelled out each day to other towns but would not stay again. We were also told our room would be cleaned. In fact the towels were still wet from previous use and the sheets looked like they had been refolded and not replaced. We had a meal in the restaurant on the first night. Kebab off the specials board. Not impressed with what we received for what we paid. Barely any meat on a baguette with white sauce all over it.

Ein fantastischer Aufenthalt! Das Hotel übertraf unsere Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht. Die Chefs waren äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Zimmer war makellos sauber, komfortabel und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine großartige Auswahl an leckeren Aufschnitt und regionalen Brotsorten. Nettes Team und gute Zimmer

Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Team Obwohl wir auf die letzte Minute kamen, haben wir noch ein leckeres Abendessen bekommen. Wir wurden beim Essen und beim Frühstück immer gefragt ob alles passt und wir nochwas bräuchten. Zimmer sind sauber und gemütlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Anders als angegeben, gibt es kein Spielzimmer, keine Spiele, keinen Spielplatz, keinen Außenpool.(Das war sehr entäuschend ) Es gibt auch nur ein kleines Restaurant und einen Frühstücksraum.Das Essen war ok. Die tägliche Zimmereinigung fand am 3.Tag des Aufenthalts zum 1.Mal statt. Im Hotel bekommt man den Hinweis, dass eine Buchung direkt über das Hotel am Besten ist.Kartenzahlungen sind nur begrenzt möglich ( einige Karten werden wegen hoher Gebühren nicht akzeptiert) Vazit: Die Beschreibung des Hotels sollte überarbeitet werden.

Leider wird mehr versprochen, als gehalten. Zumeinen gibt es weder einen Pool noch versprochene Hausschuhe und auch keine Disigntoilettenartikel. Was die Kissenauswahl betrifft, musste ich 3 mal nachfragen wegen einem Kehlkopfkissen und konnte mich glücklich schätzen, dass ich eines bekam. Wenn man nach Hilfe für Busfahrplan gefragt hat, bekommt man nur die Antwort, dass man nur Auto fährt und nicht Bus und mir nicht helfen kann oder wahrscheinlich nicht will. Sehr schade! Es war auch leider nicht, wie versprochen eine Massage oder ein Friseurbesuch möglich. Das Frühstück war soweit gut, leider musste man mit lauwarmen Rührei sich begnügen. Hinter dem Hotel ist es sehr ungepflegt, um nicht zu sagen unsauber ohne Sitzmöglichkeiten bei Regen, da es keinerlei Überdachung gibt, nur einen Regenschirm kann man sich nehmen. Bei Ansprache beim Checkout wird man nur darauf hingewiesen, dass man nicht über Expedia, sondern nur direkt buchen soll. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel nur Gästen, die nicht so hohe oder geringe Ansprüche haben. Leider....
