Easy to find from the subways and overlooks one of the entrances to Gare du Nord. One of the cheapest places with ensuites so you get what you pay for. Small lift, rooms small and minimalist with a bed, very small desk, plastic chair, small wall TV and controllable radiator (higher settings make a bit of noise). Reasonably quiet with the window closed despite being on a main street and relatively thin walls between rooms. Good view of the station from the higher rooms. No tea or coffee or cups but several power points. Ensuite very small, difficult to turn or move. Same for the shower. Soap got taken away on day one without replacement - towels weren't renewed, but floor was clean. Small hallways fairly dark, had to feel for where to put the key in the door.
Quick check-in and checkout. Good service from the staff and plenty of activities leaflets in reception. Restaurants everywhere, tubes busses and trains within a minute or two's walk. Great location and easy to find, basic functional rather than luxury.
