Its a great place for camping. lots of trees and bird life and on the river. saw a possum going qbout its business, it looked really healthy. i always get the cabin for the family but the the eldest at 7/8 is contemplating real tent camping after witnessing other kids camping and seeing how it works. kids still loving the chickens, peacocks and natural bird life like honey eaters, lorikeets, blue jays etc. and the natural settings. its a nature setting not far from town, only 5mins drive. not far from the big smoke either.
the kids were excited in trying the fresh laid free range eggs from annie the hen, we had 4 from the grocers but we got two more from the camp store.
there are bbqs with the cabins, great for cooking without a big mess or clean up. all the modern conveniences and of course last minute marshmallows from the camp store for the kids. kids wanted to stay longer.
