Amazing stay
This was an amazing stay! It was our first time In Croatia and a great introduction to the country. Nevena was so accommodating and did whatever she could for us. The apartment was clean and spacious and in an amazing location. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We loved it.

Old Town Gem
This location was perfect. We were minutes walk from the heart of Old Town without being stuck in the hustle and bustle. The apartment itself was well kept and me seen with everything we needed for our stay including a stove top kitchen ware and a fridge. We would absolutely stay here again.

The property pictures were nothing like the lobby and entrance to our apartment, steep stairs to our rooms, old iron gate, long walk to get to our plc.

You should not book this place. The pictures are very deceiving as they have a lot of water pictures on the webthat indicate are ‘lobby’ but these rooms do not offer any water view! The view from the bedroom is of the street and the rooms are against the wall and you cannot see any water.. in fact there is a whole bunch of rubble covered up with tarps….not a nice patio area. also the room is very hard to locate as they do NOT have the ‘apartment’ plaque that should be outside the door where us enter. This room is also the farthest from any of the entrances to old Dubrovnik..so lots of stairs and distance but we thought that it would be worth it because we thought we were going to be right on the water but not true! Only one set of keys inconvenience when u have 3 adults going in different directions. When I asked her about the pictures she said. The pictures are from her daughter’s apartment and from the ‘bar’ that is several blocks away. So these pictures should be removed from the website because they do not represent this property. The other issues that we had. With this property was the ‘solvent smell’ looks like they did some renovations and there is a very strong solvent smell especially at night that smells very TOXIC and cannot be healthy. they try and cover up the smell with air fresheners that plug into socket. They also have this “humidifier’ in the bedroom to mask the smell but it looked like it

Supergave accommodatie in “de muur” van de stad. Even zoeken, maar dan heb je ook wat. Verwacht geen picobello inrichting. Zo is er een kastje in de keuken kapot, wat extra pannen zou welkom zijn als jezelf wilt koken. Ook een (rol)gordijn in de keuken zou handig zijn. De mensen kunnen je anders makkelijk “bewonderen”.

Property has been refurbished
The property has been refurbished to a high standard so any reviews older than 2021 you can safely ignore. Location is excellent and saves much of the stair climbing associated with apartments elsewhere in The Old Town. Nena was fabulous and went above and beyond to help us out.

I was comfortable. Location was convenient for getting around Old Dubrovnik. Be prepared to carry your luggage in and out of town about 1/2 mile each way. Prices are high, but one can find a few places to eat and stay within a budget.

Nuestra experiencia en el apartamento Abjanic ha sido inmejorable. La limpieza fue máxima y la ubicación no podría ser mejor, en el puro centro de Dubrovnik pero muy calmada para la noche. El apartamento también tiene una terraza donde se puede disfrutar de un agradable desayuno o comida. Llegamos a Dubrovnik sobre las 10 de la noche y la propietaria nos recibió muy amablemente y nos condujo hacia el apartamento, nos explicó todo lo que necesitábamos saber y se mostró disponible para cualquier duda que pudiéramos tener. También nos recomendó un restaurante debajo del apartamento donde cenar con un 10% de descuento y en el que cenamos una hamburguesa y una pizza buenísimas, aparte de un servicio muy amable y atento. Para cualquier duda nos pusimos en contacto con la propietaria y tardó muy poco en recomendarnos lo que necesitábamos. A la hora del check-out le pedimos si por favor nos podría dar un poco más de tiempo y se mostró muy flexible y sin problemas. Al salir nos guardó el equipaje hasta que salimos hacia el aeropuerto dado que teníamos un vuelo tardío. Un trato muy familiar y cercano que se agradece en un viaje así. Hvala van!!

Nana the owner is a lovely lady. The apartments are in a great location. Loved living with the locals. The only negative thing I could say is that I would have loved a toaster. I wouldn’t hesitate going back.

This property was not properly photographed and described on the Expedia website. My family of 5 stayed for 4 nights and the apartment seemed very unkept and run down. Many wires hanging out of the wall. No kickboards or molding to close the gaps between the wall and floors. Cockroaches everywhere and you could hear the Mice inside the walls. The TV did not work and the owner was very quick to leave. There were no extra trash bags or paper towel rolls. The owner never came to give us fresh towels or take out the trash in the 4 days we were there. In order to reach the property owner I had to walk to a local restaurant to ask for her. She could not be reached so the restaurant worker called the son and then he sent over his sister after 1 hour. The apartment was not clean. The carpet was nailed to the wood floor. The kitchen was new. The table in the kitchen was loose at the legs and 1 kitchen chair was coming apart. The bathroom shower door had a lot of mold on it . Expedia has been wonderful with helping us through this ordeal. I would not recommend this facility.

Nice small studio with great location
Very nice place and owner and great location. The small studio has a terrace where you see parts of the wall. You can cook your own meals or go to several nice restaurants in a minute or two.

Stay here if you want a true Dubrovnik apartment period you are actually part of the wall when you stay here and you will hear people outside of the skylights. I found it incredibly charming to stay there. You are truly literally next to the bar on the beach and it's a great place to hang out and get into the water and escape the crowds and get called off. N e n a cannot be sweeter she is delightful and really makes a great effort at making our stay comfortable. Thank you so much for your generosity of helping us with our bags.
