Stayed two nights on a family trip around Northern Europe. VERY basic accommodation in a convenient location with a very frequent and free ferry to downtown. Room was clean but lacking any particular comfort apart from beds. Very few places to put things down and no hooks in the bathroom. Small window didn’t open and had privacy frosting on it, which made the room even less comfortable. Felt a lot like a hospital. Given the cost of accommodation in Amsterdam, this was a good option to have, but not a place where we wanted to spend any time.

Convenient hostel in amsterdam, could take a 5min free ferry from central station. They have good hotel amenities like washing machine, bar, luggage locker. Staff were very helpful! We booked a room with private toilet, but the bath area is not well shielded (only a small glass) so the toilet floor gets wet easily. Cleaning was so so (dirt on pillow).

Most expensive hostel I’ve stayed at in Europe and my least favorite. Walls are paper thin and the breakfast is a rack! Don’t buy it. I asked for a refund and was never given an answer. Would’ve preferred being told no than not even being told anything. The washers and dryers are super expensive and not that great. I do not recommend. They nickel and dime you to death.

It's a kool hostel with up-to-date facilities and a large split level communal area that has a lot of activities. The room and bathroom was nice and clean. Bike rental was easy. Crossing the river with the boat was convenient as there's one available every 5 mins. Staff were pleasant and onto it. Only thing missing was retail stores / dining around the building.

It's a hostel, every evening the local students come by for entertainment and socializing. The only thing I didn't like was the design of the shower. It's not enclosed enough, so half of the floor is wet after showering. Other than that, Clink Noord is convenient and a nice place to stay.

It was a very average stay ! Clean enough, decent enough amenities. The breakfast staff were far friendlier than the front desk staff . I was on the third floor, in an all female dorm, and it was very quiet . The place seemed a bit older than I originally thought , but it was mostly ok . Pillow very flat . Bed not super comfy. Check in at four, but my room wasn’t ready until almost 5. Don’t buy the breakfast buffet, not worth it. Super close to the ferry which brings you to centraal. Felt safe walking alone at night.
