I am sad to write this review as we absolutely loved this hotel a few years ago. Last year there were signs of change and this year very clearly things had changed. Although, we were given the room we requested, so Thankyou😊
Firstly, when we arrived on my way to the room, I saw a mouse running frantically through the dark corridor🐁. I let reception know and their response surprised me. They just said ‘Thankyou for letting us know, we will inform housekeeping’. That was it, we heard no more! My husband followed it up the next day, and we felt they were trying to say I didn’t see it! They explained they have a company come in to control all pests and that the company only came the week before. It was not a good start.
As others have pointed out, the sunbeds around the infinity pool come at a cost! Hence they are nearly always empty, which doesn’t look good.
This is the first time we have not had the premium package. The reason being it has gone up substantially! It does influence the whole feel of the stay. For example, whilst the breakfast was very good, the experience was awful….searching for a table, finding staff to clear it, queuing for omelettes or poached eggs, and the noise level was dreadful.
I could go on, but I will just say, it was a wonderful hotel, but for us, not anymore.
