We stayed for one night. The hotel itself was ok. It is a very large property with ponds and nice landscape. The room was large, clean, and quiet. There are lots of bugs and lizards running in the hallways though. The room facilities were old, shower was broken and leaking all over the bathroom. Breakfast was normal.
The hotel is about 30 mins drive from Kenchunburi town. We arrived at the town center around 10PM by bus and had very difficult time finding transportation to the hotel. We called the front desk for help, but they did not understand English AT ALL and couldn't help. Finally we found a Taxi and spent 500BHT to get to Hotel.
In the morning, we again wanted to arrange for transportation from the hotel to town. The staff DO NOT understand English AT ALL. It was impossible to communicate. For such a large Hotel (which was assigned as 3.5 stars in Expedia) this is quite unusual. There is a absolutely no public transportation from the hotel as well. At the end, hotel Manager called another person who could barely speak English and asked for 300BHT to get us to the closest road. which was absurd. Hotel takes no responsibility to provide any kind of transportation or help to foreigners.
Please spend more money and get a room in the city, as the transportation back and forth will add up. Also the fact that Hotel provides no help to English speaking customers is a huge negative. They can not give any kind of help on tours and transportation and else.
