6/10 Good

The room was bery big for a hotel. It is old, and could use updating - cabinets, sink, bath, althought the floors are new. The desk was dirty with sticky stains on it. The towels although washed were stained. The doors of the rooms were shoting loudly and the noise was carrying through out the whole floor due to the vinyl flooring in the hall. The matresses were somewhat hard but comfy for me. It was ok for staying just one night.

I booked this on expedia. CONS- The hotel is this run down looking small property behind a big marriot. This place has no lobby and you have to go to the other hotel to check in and when you need anything . PROS- the place was spacious, and clean. If you need a place to sleep and hang out before the casino at a cheap price, then this is your place.

Do not book this place. Not safe or clean ask to see the room and it smelled like smoke, dirty, loud and unsafe turned around and left

First off, the Rosemont is not part of the Marriott. They share a parking lot but they are nothing alike. I thought they were connected as even the signs outside are difficult to distinguish one from the other. When I explained that I had made a mistake, and gave the benefit of the doubt by going to the room at the Rosemont, I was very let down. Every piece of furniture in the room looked like tag sale freebies, the bedding did not fit the bed, the walls had many scuff marks, and the first floor room had a slider that had damage. I told the person at the desk that I had made a mistake and meant to book at the Marriott and he told me that I needed to call Expedia for my refund. I was in the room under 4 minutes. Expedia requested a refund and the manager of the Rosemont refused to give me my money back. Don't make this mistake!!

The room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The fluorescent light in the bathroom flickered and took 10 minutes to turn on. The smoke detector had plastic wrap around it. We did not feel safe and didn't stay the night.

We walked into the room and there was mud dried on the carpet. I opened a drawer in the kitchenette and found a roach. it looked like it was dying but it was still alive. We did not stay. I tried to talk to the manager but he walked away from me. DON'T STAY HERE.

4/10 Fair

Was clean but so outdated and just unkept

Office staff are live in employees, they leave the door to their apartment slightly ajar all the time. The hallway smells of curry and spices. The room was pet friendly which we liked, so no carpeting for the dog. All the walls had patched holes that have never been sanded or repainted. The sink when turned on sounded like a freight train. The shower head is an older sunbeam (cheap) that has the outside shower with 3 jets on the inside for harder pressure. The water barely came out of 1 of those 3 with terrible pressure. Could barely get wet enough to shower. They provided no shampoo or conditioner which we did not bring as it was a single overnight stay just for a concert in the area.

8/10 Very good

The odor

We went to the hotel which on the door gave a phone number to call to get in. Not realizing we had to walk in through another hotel to receive our keys. Once we opened the hotel door it smelled like pure cigarettes literally the whole hotel. I was with my daughter and I had to purchase fabreeze to make my room smell decent. Overall the bed was comfortable and we slept well but the odor needs to be worked on

meh

main door locked a sign with a phone number on it we called 3 times busy, voicemail and then finally someone answered. instructed us to go to another hotel to check in...um what no inperson customer service at all. it was the strangest thing. room old but clean AC was awful. this place was a one and done sometimes paying less is just not worth it

There is no check-in desk (2 men sitting inside of the front door with a 3-ring binder) containing key cards. After check-in no one is visibly on duty. The rear door is held open with a rock. The front door does not open with our key card. Several room features are turned off (TV's cable, lamps), both lamps have no light bulb, one has a broken switch), or not functioning (WIFI signal is strong but carrying no Internet connection, A/C does not cool).

I called 2 x to confirm reservation and the person who answered the phone did not ask for name or phone nr. Nothing. Just said you have reserved rooms. Check in was bad, a man came out of a room right behind reception and just gave us keys. No info on anything. The rooms and the entire place stank of curry and mold, with walls like they were hit by something not even repaired. Rooms from the 60s, with mold stench so bad we left after 1 minute. Receptionist not attentive, v passive and answering phone 2 x did not state the name of the hotel or his name. Do yourself a favor and don’t go. You are better off sleeping in your car.

Worst place on earth!!

I got there late (11pm) and the owner/manager was sitting in the lobby in his pajamas. Handed me the key and I went to my room, which smelled of smoke so I had a hard time sleeping. It was suppose to be a non-smoking room. The next morning I was going to heat up some food for breakfast and I found a plate in the microwave that had literally been in there for weeks, if not months. Picture included. I thought I was going to throw up. I took the owner/manager down to show him and he took it like oooops. He even agreed it had been there months. No offer of discount, refund. Never ever stay in this place. Most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed and I stay in hotels for 3 months out of the year. Hotels.com please stop promoting this horrible place. Pee stain on the sheets also.

HORRIBLE

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here, even if it’s the last place available. The place is old and poorly run. I checked in and got to my room only to be met with MOLD ALL ON THE WALL AND WINDOW! The room reeked of an air freshener probably due to the room smelling moldy. I wanted to cancel my reservation but he already checked me in so I had to go through hotels.com to get a refund on my non-refundable reservation. I called Rosemont monday 2/12/24 because they had not responded to my refund request made through hotels.com. The manager, I cannot remember his name but of Indian descent, explained there was nothing he could do because I did not cancel within 24hrs prior to my stay. I explained I would not have canceled if the room didn’t have mold in it. All he keeps saying was “thank you, goodbye” “nothing I could do, goodbye” and I kept explaining to him the right thing to do is refund my money due to the mold. He said “there’s nothing I can do, goodbye” “sir how many times do I have to say goodbye” until he finally HUNG UP ON ME! What a rude and disrespectful manager and now I am out $150. I will be pursuing further actions against this place because it is incredibly unhealthy what they are doing
