Worst hotel customer service experienced
Worst hotel experience we've honestly ever had. Our air con broke one night into our stay so the room was a sweat box. We had a total of 6 people come in to our room to confirm it was broken, they said they could offer another room to so we packed up our stuff ready to move then they retracted the offer saying they had no room availability. It was only when I asked for a refund for the rest of our stay that they then miraculously found a spare room for us to spend 1 night in and called out someone to fix the air con in our existing room.
But the hilarious thing was that we went to the other room they offered up and there was a guy in there fixing the air con there too as it was also broken.
We completely understand that these things happen with technology however the staff were lacking ownership of the issue and made us feel as though we were being difficult.
Honestly such a shame as it's tainted our holiday experience with all the stress of being hot and bothered, packing and unpacking and trying to ensure the issue was resolved so we could sleep comfortably.
