The staff was amazing! Only issue was that the dresser drawers were quite difficult to open/close, it felt like their tracks may need to be fixed. Otherwise an overall phenomenal experience.

White House is 28 minute walk from this hotel and other points of interest are further. The cleaners don’t leave enough towels for registered guests— 3 instead of 4, and I had to request additional service almost every single day because of it. Vehicles are $60-70 a day valet not $50 as listed on hotel site.

The staff had a pleasant demeanor but lacked communication which for me is bad customer service. I struggled with my bags because the Valet is also the bellman and security guard. I called down for tea in the morning to be sent to the room they said we had to come to the lobby to get it, fine. I packed my bags and went down to get tea only to be told oh, the tea is gone it’s over at 10am. Why wasn’t that communicated when I initially inquired. It was a if you don’t ask we’re not going the extra mile to telling you. We needed our key to use the elevator which is a pretty standard thing. However, to assume I knew that about that hotel was also poor. I realized because another guest was on the elevator with me so she pressed my floor for me with her key. I would have had my key out ready. Thankful someone was in the elevator to help. Also, we came in after midnight and was standing in the doorway locked out bc again you needed your key to access the hotel. We stood there trying to get the receptionist attention for what felt like forever because it was so cold before I looked around and realized I needed my room key. Upon check in I paid my balance that I knew was due only for her to tell me after that she held the deposit on that card as well. I was fully prepared to use a diff card for my deposit. I’ve never checked in to the hotel and they don’t explain what’s being done before doing it. Especially when it comes to charging your card.
