Love everything about Avenue! the location, the staff, the room...and dinner at the restaurant onsite. Walk from train station was a little long but manageable. Once there tho, everything was near...the eateries, shops, supermarket, ferry, bus. Excellent wifi, in-room kettle for the late night cuppa and no trouble storing luggage there. Sweet, patient and helpful staff...all of them. Thank you!

Fantastic staff; always cheerful and helpful; our two rooms were booked as identical in size but our friends had a larger bathroom and ours a much larger bedroom space which is what the photos online indicated (and I don't believe their bed was a King size as advertised; ours was). Great location. Truly, our only wish was that there was a bar for simply having a drink at night prior to dinner. They set up the entire space (fairly small) for dinner; but they accommodated us and removed the table settings several nights allowing for drinks only. Very nice of them to also bring two hors d-oeuvres with drinks.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Avenue hotel. Staff were amazing, made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much effort. We really enjoyed the new restaurant. Food and bevs were excellent. Will certainly be returning.

The place is really hard to find, but once you find it the location is good. It is close to everything within the Center. If you are traveling by car, this hotel is not a good place to stay. There is no parking to drop off your bag and once you do drop off your bag you have to drive pretty far to park in a Public parking area. If you are by yourself and you get there at night, it doesn’t feel safe because your first time here it is hard to find your way back to the hotel. The advertisement for the hotel states parking. I think that is misleading. It should say Paunlic Parking. This is a big difference for people traveling by car. The room was decent. Nothing to write home about. The mattress felt very cheap. The breakfast was good. The staff is very nice. The hallways are very noisy because the floors are tile and people dragging heir suitcases is very loud. But, for the price and the location it is good for someone without a car.
