I checked in in the evening, but was locked out on the street for a fair amount of time. No one was at the front desk so I had to call and wait for someone to come let me in.
It’s a great historic hotel, but could use some upgrades. It smells kinda musty. The toilet water keeps running. I stayed here a few years ago (like about 4) and had the same room with the same toilet issue- still not fixed. Restaurant attached to the hotel is closed. Not a safe downtown area. Too bad. I needed a quick stay, and this was the cheapest around. Guess you get what you pay for. I’ll go elsewhere next time.
