This hotel is more like housing for athletes that are training at the sport center attached to the hotel. The hotel has excellent clay tennis courts, although they only let me use the hard courts as I was on my own and just practicing my serve. The place is very clean and relatively new. The breakfast is adequate, but not as overwhelming as some Italian hotels. The main drawback is you are in the middle of nowhere. As I am an avid tennis player, I'd stay again, but I can't recommend it to tourists not seeking to use the excellent training facilities, which include in addition to tennis courts a gym and three swimming pools.
**One thing to note is that the restaurant has the best Pizza man in Venice. I got to know him when he had his own place, but he retired and somehow this restaurant convinced him to come back. Ask for your favorite pizza 'batuta' ... a style by which the Pizzola flattens it out a bit more and adds more topping.
