Disappointed and offended
We arrived to find the hot tub out of service which was the main reason we booked this hotel. Pretty disappointing but the manager was super nice about it and it is what it is. At least the pool was still open. Then we got to our room. It smelled terrible. Not sure why so we told the manager who apologized and gave us a different room.
Then we went to dinner and came back looking forward to pool time. I double check that it was still open and the posted sign said it was open 6am-Midnight. Great. We changed into our suits and when down. Only the pool was now closed. It was 11pm. When I asked Tyler at the front desk why it was closed he said ‘Yeah, it closes at 11’. I asked why when the pool has a sign clearly posted that said open until midnight. He replied, “ I don’t know what the sign says. I e worked here for a year and we close it at 11. I pressed further stating that that is false advertising and I was looking forward to spending time with my family at the pool. He basically said oh well you can go back to your room and spend time with them there. He was very sarcastic and rude to me and I was shocked at his attitude. Absolutely no customer service skills. He basically took a disappointed customer and turned me into a very angry and offended one. We will never stay here again. What a crappy way to spend our night in Lexington. He told me I could call corporate if I had a problem. I said I would and asked for the number. He said, well you can google it.
