Off season vibe, like a dress rehearsal for summer
Overall a fine stay, but the hotel service doesn't match the hotels ambitions; I wrote to them about needing a room with two beds and requested airport shuttle pick up, and the hotel admitted that they never read my message, so we ended up in a taxi and a room with a king size bed.
The receptionist gave us a new room with two beds, but these couldn't be separated without the help of a handyman and his tools, as well as a concierge who insisted on making the beds afterwards, though it was obvious, that he had never made a bed before.
The hotel website promotes all services available, though in off season, some are not available, which isn't informed neither online or at the hotel.
For instance, we discovered, that La Prima restaurant wasn't open, when we found the doors closed to a dark room. Yet, the hotel still asks its guests to review it.
We were also given towels cards for the pool area, where the towel booth never seemed to be open, and the pool bar and food mart were also closed for off season.
Having less activities for off season is perfectly logical, but the hotel should keep up with its information per season, not just rely on year round information.
The food and service in the Main Restaurant was excellent. It was obvious, that they were training staff to be ready for Summer.
Bad acoustics in the indoor pool area and hardly a relaxing spa environment, but the sauna and steam room were great.
Also, the staff clearly likes the cats and dogs that live nearby.
