Outstanding.
We were made very welcome on arrival and, the host couldn’t do enough for us. The evening meal was outstanding would recommend very highly. Will be back at some point.

Our New Year 2024 stay
We gave stayed twice before this latest visit and things only get better. Everything is great, food, drink, accommodation, location and last but not least the owners and staff.

Lovely stay
Stayed here as convenient for wedding trip to Sneaton Caste nearby. Staff were wonderful. Rooms lovely and breakfasts plentiful

Nice place
Everything was perfectly adequate, but the pub bar wasn’t open on a Saturday afternoon. Was looking forward to a pint after a 2 hr drive. Nice views from rooms & breakfast was nice.

I enjoyed my stay the room was fine , the was a hole in the wall I noticed but other than that there was nothing to complain about staff were pleasant and welcoming, breakfast was great. The location was a bit out of it for me But for those who want a quiet out of the hustle and bustle it would be perfect.

Great relaxing stay.
Great location in a very peaceful area only a short drive to the Whitby park and ride. Superb breakfast and very good choice of meals of an evening. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, making us and our little dog very comfortable.

When we got there we discovered it was about 5miles from Whitby centre which meant we couldn't go anywhere and have a meal and drink because we would have to drive back. So we found a hotel in Whitby town centre

Perfect Stay!
Fantastic room, friendly staff, food was amazing, evening meal and the breakfast. Would definitely recommend a stay here for anyone who would prefer to stay a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Whitby

The Wilson Arms is in a lovely quiet hamlet, lovely room. Good food, clean and modern. Friendly Staff which are polite and helpful. Can't fault the place. I have recommended it to my Daughter and family to stay there next year. Lovely place. Thank You very much. Eric.

An attractive, tastefully decorated property in a quiet no through road near Whitby. An excellent room but had issues with the shower unfortunately. Eventually worked out that it had to be on eco mode ( weak shower spray) as variable water pressure caused the temperature to fluctuate massively. Rooms don’t contain any info about meal times or checkout time or other helpful info such as Wi-Fi. Again, no full breakfast menu on display so had to play a game of yes/ no with the waitress with regard to what was available. No hash browns but you can have black pudding! Also I asked for poached eggs at both breakfasts and twice I got fried eggs! Maybe not capable of doing poached eggs? This place has got plenty of potential but seems to be missing some important details. A great location and beautifully presented. Hope that they address these issues as they can be easily resolved.

4/10 พอใช้

Went to check in. All the doors were locked. Check in time was after 3pm. We arrived just after 4pm. Hubby was handed a key and was told they don’t open until 6.30pm. Okay not a problem. We went out. Got back at 9.15pm to find that food was served between 6.30 and 8.30. The only place I saw this was on the menu. So after a long drive from North Wales we went to bed after not eating. The room was ok as long as you didn’t look at the stripes on the carpet. It was a minor thing but they weren’t straight. The beds were tiny. The size where you have to wake up to turn over or you end up on the floor. I’m 5’4” and 112lbs. My husband called the room Garage Sale Decor. We don’t know what time breakfast was or if there was any. The pub bit was locked. No one around so we left the key in the room and left. It was about 7.30. Never again. I have never felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable walking into a place.
