Our room at True was very small. It was also confusing because the friends we were traveling with booked with Home 2 and we thought we were at the same hotel. Their room for the same price had much more room. We noticed this as soon as we went to our room after check in.
I went down to the front desk and asked if I could change to Home 2 and the people at the desk started to work with me to see if they can make that happen. During this time, a manager came out and asked what the situation was. I was approached with an attitude by that person with them making the assumption that I was demanding something from them. I explained that I just asked if it could be done and wasn't demanding anything. I was told I could do it but it would cost significantly more to make the change. If I would have been told that up front, I wouldn't have spent 10 minutes trying to work something out. Everyone else at this facility was polite and very helpful. The facilities are nice other than the size of the rooms at Tru, I think the experience would have been much better had the one person who I assume was a manager tried to understand the situation before making judgement. 99% of the staff were great but it was somewhat ruined by that experience.
