Very nice modern hotel, great value for price. Staff was friendly as well. Would definitely stay there when back in Belfast.

Good but not great

Good renovated rooms. Nobody attending. Everything through codes. Towels are never changed even in a 4 day stay. We tried, but they didn’t. Lift not working. Very well located

Just a very basic room

8/10 Very good

The room was clean and well appointed. The only drawback was the sheets were washed with a strong smelling fragrance and I spent the night sneezing.

An inexpensive but great accommodation option close to the heart of Derry (walled area, peace bridge, tourist info etc). You receive an email with entry code prior. Rooms very clean and functional. Parking in a small carpark across the road is great but make sure you have plenty of coins (£€) as they don't accept cards. Would stay again.

Not for us

We were met by a lovely girl who let us into our room half an hour early . The lift to the second floor was broken and has been since 30.06.25 so we had to carry our luggage up flights of stairs. The room itself was basic (very basic) no wardrobe just a rack to hang a few coats on, a bed ,tv, and a small table with a kettle . There was a damp smell from the bathroom . Towels were not changed after the first day . You could hear the occupants talk in the room next to us . We didnt stay the second night . No one onsite , no reception or security

Bedding

Bed cover consisted of a duvet which was too heavy for our liking. Too hot with the cover on, and becoming too cool with it off. Sweat and cool cycle resulted in poor sleep. No ability to open a window to let fresh air in.

This is a self checkin accommodation with no staff on premises. Room was cold as it appears heating is set by a timer as it turned off by itself around 10pm. Room got cold very quickly so I l contacted owner by text on the number provided for issues but no reply. I then contacted Expedia and they tried to call hotel/owner but could not get in touch. I then received an email from owner at 0615am on morning of checkout, also after heating automatically went on while we were sleeping. We had an unsettling night as we couldn’t get to sleep due to room being cold, no spare blankets either so had to wear our jumpers over our pjs in bed. Apart from that room was clean and modern.

Newly refurbished hotel. Room was very nice. There is no staff at this "contactless" hotel. This became problematic when the wrong dates were somehow booked and we arrived with no way to get into the building which was locked up. The area was not great at that time either. Our US phones were unable to reach the phone number provided. We only got a recording, and not one that sounded like it was the hotel. Fortunately a family member who lives in N. Ireland was able to get through or we'd have been stuck. Once we reached a person, we got the reservation changed and were given access, and all worked out. There needs to be a better way to get help in situations like this. The room was fine and cleaning service did a nice job too. Just needed better support system.

8/10 Very good

No complaints about the room but the guests next door were pretty inconsiderate and the noise was quite bad

I booked this hotel through Expedia for a business trip, and the experience was well below expectations. We reserved two rooms, but only received one access code. My colleague was unable to enter her room and had to wait in mine until her code finally came through—an unnecessary and frustrating start to our stay. Later that evening, around 10:30 PM, my colleague popped out to buy a bottle of water and some toilet roll (as none was provided in her room, Room 10). When she returned, her door code no longer worked and she was locked out. With no staff or reception on-site and no clear support available, she was left standing outside her room, alone, late at night. This was a distressing and unsafe situation for a young woman traveling solo. Eventually, she had to wake me (in Room 14) to help. I called the property owners, who were able to override the lock remotely, but their response was dismissive and showed little urgency or concern. To make matters worse, the bathroom in my room (Room 14) had a strong damp smell, adding to the overall sense of poor cleanliness and maintenance. By the time everything was sorted, it was close to 11 PM. I was wide awake and stressed, despite needing to be up at 6 AM for a meeting. This stay was not only inconvenient, but also felt unsafe and unhygienic. I would not recommend this property to anyone—particularly not solo travelers or business guests expecting even a basic level of service and support.

I honestly cannot stress how fantastic we found this place! Central to everything, a stones throw from the Guildhall, the walls and the Tower museum as well as some amazing places for food and drinks. Before arrival, online check in process was smooth, received our code and this worked perfectly when we arrived. The room itself is spacious, has a big comfy bed, the bathroom has a lovely shower and good sink and mirror (with another light round it). Spotlessly clean as well! There is a small kettle in the room and a TV but we didn't use either. I think it could use some more storage space around the room and better instructions on the heating as we couldn't get it to work. But other than that we absolutely loved it!! Would highly recommend!
