Hotel Amavi was absolutely beautiful! The staff was friendly and informative. Very clean with the most comfortable beds. Location was great, just a few minutes walk to the beach with a couple of bars and a cute restaurant called Mahi Mahi you could just walk up to and order the most delicious food and sit right there on the beach and eat! Property is beautiful and nicely located near the ocean. Reception was so kind and easy to work with, very accommodating. We had a great time the evening we were there - got great drinks at the bar and had great conversation with other guests. Highly recommend! Only issue we came across was the slow-draining shower. Otherwise, a nearly perfect stay for a great price.

It was such a beautiful boutique hotel. It was 2 min walk to the beach and like 5 min drive to the main street where all the restaurants are. The days we were there the host had activities for guests to mingle. (Trivia & paint night)

We loved our stay at Hotel AMAVI ! The rooms are gorgeous and the overall property feels like a dream. My partner and I chose to send an extended weekend in JACÓ to celebrate my birthday and we had a blast. It is in walking distance of the beach and the strip with all of the shopping, dinner, and bar options was a $2 UBER ride away. Highly recommend!!! The staff is very nice and welcoming.

Beautiful new hotel with friendly and helpful staff! I’m still a sucker from the millennial aesthetic, and this hotel does it well. Beautiful wood furniture and accents. I noted several efforts at sustainability. And, most importantly, the bed was super comfortable; I didn’t want to get up!

There were ants all over our room- all over the floor, climbing the walls and even in our beds. The floor looked like it hasn’t been washed in months and the toilet seat was falling off. It was the bartender that checked us in when we arrived and knew next to nothing about our reservation. No restaurant on the premises, only bar food which closes at 8:00. It could be a great place but didn’t measure up to the reviews
