Rooms fine, staff lovely, a la carte food dreadful, inedible and exorbitantly and totally unjustifiably expensive, (avoid pizza and tigmi sandwich in particular) about 4 times the price of similar in Marrakech, which are larger by far. Set menu usually a very small tagine with no couscous – it is extra!). Breakfast very basic, eggs also extra (WHAT??). Very remote so no choice but to eat onsite or go hungry. Absolutely NOTHING to do onsite, this place is ideal for monastic retreats but not for a holiday break. I researched this break carefully and read reviews so an enormous disappointment and a case of the Emperor's New Clothes Syndrome. This is most definitely NOT family-friendly. No child facilities, manager invisible and eats better than his guests (dishes of big prawns carried past us!), does not check on welfare of guests, appears briefly at breakfast time only, shouts at staff. It was my wife's birthday and our anniversary, so I made sure that he knew when I booked, but there was no mention made of it despite my leaving the birthday card at breakfast. All in all a total and shameful disappointment.
