do not judge a book by it's cover
We were greeted by a man in a tattered sweatshirt in the main house. Then We were taken to the room in a carriage house across a dark parking lot. There were no lights in the entry and there was an sunken entry to the room we nearly fell into the room. There were remains from the previous logger including dirty glasses and trash. It was dark and dingy.
We had stayed in the main house 3-4 years earlier and went to look at an available room there. The hall carpets were stained and in bad shape, there was clean laundry piled on the landing outside the room, the room was not made up and in total disarray-It smelled of body odder.
We left.
This is a gorgeous property on the main street in New Hope do not judge a book by it's cover.
