Location is 300m near Hiroshima eki
Rooms are small but clean and neat, providing accessories much more than other hotels with similar prices
Staff are polite and patient
Perhaps the most weirdest hotel you may come across. About a 6 minute walk from the station. The lobby is of a bygone era and should have a place in a European village. The lobby sells Hiroshima Carp souvenirs as it is very close the home baseball stadium. Double Room we stayed at on the 5th floor was smaller than the average Japanese hotel room, bathroom was musky and half the floors face the rail tracks so not recommended for light sleepers. No luggage rack was provided in the room, so had to leave luggage on the floor in already tight space.
This hotel was chosen as we were travelling around Japan via rail thus location was key. It was the cheapest hotel in the area. Only choose to stay here if in a similar position.
Last but not least, check in time is 4 pm whilst check out time is 10am!!! This is quite an extreme range so another reason why I do not recommend this.
Decent hotel en route from Hiroshima railway station to the Zoom-Zoom Stadium. The hotel staff sport Hiroshima Carp jerseys and most establishements in the surrounding neighborhood make it obvious that baseball is a big deal here. The breakfast buffet was not really impressive by European standards. If you don't mind the slightly "kitschy" interior design, this hotel would make a nice budget stay in Hiroshima.
