First Time at S Hotel in Kingston
The S Hotel in Kingston used to be called the Spanish Court Hotel, which is helpful to know for your driver! It is a lovely hotel off Trafalgar Road, so within walking distance to Devon House (for delicious patties, bakery items, and even sit-down restaurants). Across the street is a grocery store for fruit and snacks, etc.
Our room rate included breakfast, which was wonderful! It saved us time (and money). It was buffet style with Jamaican fare, and also scrambled eggs/toast. Some mornings I ordered an omelet, which was also included.
Inside our room we had a mini frig. Bottled water was included the first day, and then we used our Brita water bottles to purify the tap water as needed. We also had a small single serve K-cup coffee machine with Blue Mountain coffee--very nice.
The bathroom had a garden style tub, amenities (shampoo/conditioner, bath gel, soap, and lotion), and was spacious.
Our room was on the 3rd floor (top floor) and we had floor to ceiling windows with pull-down shades (for the morning sun/heat) as well as curtains. We slept well. Very quiet.
The pool area is very nice and for guests only. There is also a hot tub (rectangle shaped, so very large). You can order food and drinks from the pool bar. On the bar is complimentary infused chilled water.
Overall, a very nice first impression and stay at S Hotel in Kingston.
